According to the Webster dictionary, a community can be defined as “a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.”
One of the businesses here in Centre-Wellington that encompasses that definition is The Bar Store.
Family owned and operated by a family that has called Fergus home since the early 1990’s, The Bar Store prides itself on sourcing materials locally as much as possible, but also supporting various community initiatives.
Specializing in the design and construction of custom and pre-designed home bars, The Bar Store can help “elevate” your rec room or “man cave,” all while you know you are supporting local in more ways than one.

We asked Crystal, one of the owners, to tell us a bit about the story and why they have chosen to continue doing work in Centre-Wellington.
Centre Wellington is a welcoming and supportive community that we love to call Home.
Being a part of a community that is more home, than a place to live and do business, they are proud to support many local not for profit sports organizations in both Fergus and Elora. In addition, the owners also volunteer as Board members and coaches when they can.
While majority of their clients are from larger centers, they have chosen to remain in a community that has been welcoming and inclusive – and is a community they are proud of, and proud to support.
To learn more about their products, or to get started on your next project, visit their website.
Alternatively you can find them on social media on both Facebook and Instagram.
